Keelen is the manager of Mt Tabor Station and has been in the position for the past 11 years. The property is owned by the ILC and is situated on her traditional country which covers an area of 190000 hectares with a 2200 head of cattle leased. She is a Native Title applicant and is a current member of the Bidjava Traditional Owners Group. She is strongly committed & passionate about the protection & preservation of Bidjava culture and has worked with various organisations within the local region such as Aboriginal Health, Schools & Bush Heritage Agencies. In 2007 she was Queensland-Australian of the year finalist.
