Alex is a research team leader with CSIRO Ecosystems Sciences leading a small team, investigating biodiversity conservation in our northern tropical savanna rangelands. This research is in partnership with regional NRM and indigenous groups. Alex has been a member of a range of scientific and threatened species technical advisory panels and has been working as a wildlife ecologist and planner for twenty years. Alex has a BA/BSc (Hons) from Melbourne, and a PhD in zoology from JCU.
