The Human Services Portfolio is about people and the services we may need at different stages of our lives.

The Portfolio brings together Australian Hearing, Centrelink, Medicare Australia and the Department of Human Services. The Department of Human Services includes the Child Support Program and CRS Australia.

The Portfolio works together to provide government social and health related services to all Australians.

The combined customer base is almost equal to the entire Australian population and the workforce comprises nearly a quarter of the Australian Public Service.
