Australian Meat Processor Corporation

The Australian Meat Processor Corporation (AMPC) is a national Research and Development Centre, representing meat processors. AMPC’s aims include the support of research and development initiatives directed at improving the sustainability and efficiency of the meat processing industry and its members.
AMPC focuses on promoting Australian meat in the domestic and international marketplace and research and development initiatives that address issues in meat safety, quality and product integrity, capability, environment, livestock management and other elements of the supply chain.
AMPC assists in protecting the economic, environmental, health, safety and social well-being of the meat processing industry and maintains a strong member focus, through effective consultation processes and collaborations with several other meat processing organisations in Australia.
